Filter structure and material selection

1. Initial structure: The outer frame mainly includes: paper frame, galvanized frame, aluminum alloy frame, stainless steel plate. There are plate and bag structures.


Filter material: Fiber filter materials mainly include: chemical fiber non-woven fabrics, glass fiber filter materials, some manufacturers have mixed filter materials of cotton fiber and chemical fiber, and others have metal meshes. Production method: Most of them are folded and formed, and the metal mesh and filter material are compositely folded. 2. Medium-efficiency filter structure: The outer frame materials mainly include: galvanized steel sheet, aluminum alloy profile, plastic frame, paper frame and other filter materials mainly include: chemical fiber, glass fiber and PP material. At present, the most used is the bag-type medium-efficiency filter of glass fiber and PP filter material. Since there are countless domestic manufacturers of coarse and medium-efficiency filters, the materials and structures used are also diverse. At present, mainstream manufacturers and foreign factories mostly use glass fiber filter media and some chemical fiber filter media. Chemical fiber occupies an increasingly large market by virtue of its low price and low resistance. 3. High-efficiency air filter structure: The outer frame is mainly used: aluminum alloy profile, multi-layer plate frame, aluminum plate frame, galvanized steel plate frame, the most used is aluminum alloy profile frame, mainly made of cube-shaped structure. Filter material: glass fiber is mostly used, and chemical fibers are gradually being used. At present, some foreign manufacturers use electrostatically charged polytetrafluoroethylene fibers (electrets) to manufacture high-efficiency filters, commonly known as PTFE. The high-efficiency structure can be divided into non-partition and partition. No separator mainly uses hot sol as the separator of the filter element, which is convenient for mechanized production. In addition, it has the advantages of small size, light weight, easy installation, stable efficiency and uniform wind speed. At present, the large-scale filters required for clean workshops mostly adopt the structure without partitions. There are partitions for high efficiency, and aluminum foil and paper are mostly used to make folded shapes as filter element separators to form air passages. The separators are made of high-quality kraft paper, hot rolled or formed by offset paper. At present, coated paper with double-sided glue is mostly used as the separator. The main purpose is to prevent the separator from shrinking due to the influence of cold, heat, dryness and humidity, thereby emitting particles. However, according to our company's experience over the years, when the temperature and humidity change, this kind of separator paper may emit large particles, which will cause the cleanliness test of the clean workshop to fail. (There have been several complaints from customers about this aspect) Therefore, for places with high cleanliness requirements, customers should be recommended to use high-efficiency air filters without partitions. The price of foreign filters with baffles is higher than that without baffles, so there are fewer places where baffles are used abroad. In addition, the V-shaped channel without the partition filter further improves the uniformity of dust holding and prolongs the service life compared with the rectangular channel with the partition filter. Baffleless filters for ventilation avoid the use of metal parts, are easy to dispose of, and comply with increasingly stringent environmental requirements.
