3.) Manufacturing process with and without clapboard:

(2) The high-efficiency air filter without clapboard generally requires the use of a fully automatic digital origami machine, which has higher requirements on production equipment, high production efficiency, low resistance, large dust holding capacity, and high-cost performance in mass production, so it will gradually replace the clapboard. High-efficiency air filters have become the mainstream of the purification market.


4.) Efficiency with and without baffles

(1) Compared with the filter of the same area, the air volume of the filter without partition is smaller than that of the filter with partition. (3) The efficiency without partition can reach H13-U17. U17 is also known as ultra-high-efficiency filtration efficiency: the filtration efficiency of ≥0.12um particles is 99.999997%. Relatively speaking, no partition filter is more efficient!


5.) Advantages and disadvantages of clapboard and no clapboard:

(1) There are partitions for high efficiency. Most of them are made of aluminum foil and paper into a folded shape as a filter element separator to form an air channel. The separators are made of high-quality kraft paper, hot-rolled or offset paper as the separator. Coated paper with double-sided glue is mostly used as the separator. The main purpose is to prevent the separator from shrinking due to the influence of cold, heat, dryness and humidity, thereby emitting particles.

However, according to the experience of the industry over the years, when the temperature and humidity change, this kind of separator paper may emit large particles, which will cause the cleanliness test of the clean room to fail. Suitable for low-level non-unidirectional flow projects and various purification equipment and clean workshops.

(2) For places with high cleanliness requirements, customers should be recommended to use high-efficiency air filters without partitions. Class A clean rooms generally use high-efficiency filters without partitions, and the FFU purification unit is also equipped with high-efficiency filters without partitions. Compared with high-efficiency filters with partitions, under the same air volume, it has the advantages of small size and light weight. , compact structure, reliable performance, easy installation, stable efficiency, uniform wind speed and so on.

The efficient design without baffles can achieve the highest efficiency with the least resistance, thus reducing the running cost, especially the hot melt adhesive design can ensure the same fold spacing, which ensures the passage of the best airflow, and at the same time achieves high dust holding capacity, extending the long service life, making full use of the filter material over the entire depth of the filter.

(3) In addition, compared with the rectangular channel with the partition filter, the V-shaped channel without the partition filter further improves the uniformity of dust holding and prolongs the service life of the filter. Baffle less filters for ventilation avoid the use of metal parts, are easy to dispose of, and comply with increasingly stringent environmental requirements. Except for some special occasions with high temperature resistance and high safety requirements, the filter without partition can replace the filter with partition.
